John Nicolau, M.D.
Dr. John Nicolau was born in Tarrytown, New York but has lived in Texas his entire life. After graduating from Texas A&M University w i t h a d e g r e e i n Biomedical Science he went to medical school at Texas Tech University in Lubbock.
After medical school, Dr. Nicolau completed internship at the John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth following which he spent three years in ophthalmology residency at Texas Tech University in Lubbock.
Dr. Nicolau entered the private practice of ophthalmology in Corpus Christi in 2008. In 2009, Dr. Nicolau returned to the university setting where he completed a fellowship in glaucoma at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas.
Dr. Nicolau has been married for 6 years and has a five year old son, Reid. He enjoys spending time with his family, baseball, football, fishing and traveling.
