Wendy Baca, M.D.

Dr. Baca was born in Joliet, Illinois. She attended St. Louis University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in Biology. She returned to Illinois for medical school at University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago, and remained there for her internship year. She traveled to San Antonio to complete an ophthalmology residency and glaucoma fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Dr. Baca specializes in glaucoma.

According to Dr. Baca, the sunny weather and friendly people in San Antonio influenced her decision to stay in the area. Her pastimes include running, traveling, and taking care of her rabbit, Harry, and two cats - Saki, a cross-eyed Siamese, and Pumpkin, a sweet Calico. She enjoys providing quality eye care to the people of San Antonio.
